Subcontract Administrator

Job Description Manage the full subcontract lifecycle from proposal support and solicitation through award, administration, and closeout in both secure and non-secure environments. Support multiple business units by reviewing subcontract requirements, coordinating proposal activities, and developing Request for Proposals (RFPs). Issue subcontractor RFPs, evaluate proposals, conduct price reasonableness assessments, and ensure compliance with TINA requirements. Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements, and complex subcontract agreements. Analyze subcontract risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend alternative approaches to support program objectives. Serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and internal stakeholders, including Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Business Development, and Project Controls. Administer a variety of subcontract types and contracting vehicles, including FFP, Cost-Type, IDIQs, Master Agreements, OTAs, and BOAs, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations. Conduct cost analyses, maintain procurement data within MRP systems, prepare complete subcontract files and documentation, and participate as a key member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance or higher required; ability to support classified and unclassified programs. 5+ years of subcontract administration experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, or related program-level contracting environments. Proven experience managing the full subcontract lifecycle from proposal support through contract closeout. Strong experience negotiating subcontract terms and conditions, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other complex contractual agreements. Thorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management principles. Experience administering multiple contract types and contracting vehicles, including FFP, Cost-Type, IDIQs, Master Agreements, OTAs, and BOAs. Demonstrated ability to conduct subcontract cost analyses, evaluate price reasonableness, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and contractual requirements. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, contract management systems, and spreadsheet-based analysis tools.
