IT Service Desk Dispatcher

- 2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to commute to Tampa, FL 33609
- Ability to relocate to Tampa, FL 33609 before starting work
- Work with our service desk engineers and clients to route service requests to the right resource in a timely manner
- Coordinate with our Service Coordinator and Service Manager on urgent service issues such as power, hardware, or ISP outages affecting one or more customers
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
- Create service tickets with detailed, accurate information
- Monitor the Service Board and pre-process incoming tickets throughout the day
- Assign tickets to the appropriate resources while helping ensure SLA targets are met
- Review tickets from the previous day and follow up or reassign as needed for field staff or PTO coverage
- Follow up on tickets where the customer has responded
- Refine ticket summary and subject lines for clarity
- Merge related tickets
- Associate unidentified catchall tickets with the correct client
- Link configurations to tickets
- Track tickets for customer responses and follow-up needs
- Set clear expectations with customers and maintain follow-up communication
- Monitor and triage our Bright Gauge dashboard for alerts, open tickets by technicians, average response time, past due items, stale tickets, unassigned resources, missing configurations, customer responses, and follow-up needs

We are hiring a full-time Service Dispatcher to support our service operations in Tampa, FL. In this in-person role, you will work closely with our service desk engineers, Service Coordinator, and Service Manager to keep service requests moving efficiently and to help manage urgent issues for our customers.
