OR Registered NurseAvera is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for a pre-operative, post-operative, and circulating assignment in Pipestone, Minnesota. The position is based at 916 Fourth Avenue Southwest, Pipestone, Minnesota 56164. The nurse will work eight-hour day shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional earlier or later hours based on the surgery schedule. The assignment includes a one-in-four call rotation, including holidays, and is expected to last 16 weeks with the possibility of extending to 18 weeks.Position Details:Position: OR Registered NurseLocation: Pipestone, Minnesota 56164Address: 916 Fourth Avenue SouthwestStart date: November 23Assignment length: 16 weeks, possibly 18 weeksSchedule:Five eight-hour day shifts per weekTypical hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMEarlier or later shifts may occur based on the surgery scheduleOne-in-four call rotation, including holidaysChristmas Day is call-only because the facility is closedResponsibilities:Perform pre-operative and post-operative nursing responsibilities.Circulate for endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, cataracts, ENT, and dental procedures.Independently support listed obstetric emergency procedures, including Cesarean sections, suction D&C, and postpartum hemorrhage control.Participate in the required call rotation.Complete charting in Epic.Qualifications:BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.TNCC certification is preferred.Experience with pre-operative, post-operative, and circulating nursing is required.Independent knowledge of the listed obstetric emergency procedures is required for consideration.On-site training will be provided for facility procedures and policies.
