Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
• Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
• Document each customer contact in CRM
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products
• Maintain knowledge of new products
• Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls
• Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and potential client lists
• Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases

Requirements

• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in Texas
• Proven track record of managing and closing insurance sales
• Clear and professional communication style, both verbally and in writing
• High level of comfort using computers and insurance-specific software
• Ability to obtain a Life and Health license if not already held within 60 days of hire
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable
• Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
