About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Dayton, Ohio, 45415!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience required. License: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License required. Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm required. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Description: Must work every other weekend. Traveler will be first to float at the discretion of management. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. Traveler will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment. Traveler will support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit and COVID care. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Management reserves the right to cancel two shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Management reserves the right to cancel the agreement with two weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. Patient care involves a diverse age group including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census approximates 130 visits per day. Patient diagrams and care will include but are not limited to general emergency department, ortho trauma, pediatric emergency, and stroke care. Float assignments may include locations within a certain radius. Traveler must demonstrate skills in arterial line management, ventilator care, blood product administration, and IV management among other emergency care competencies. A maximum of 14 days of requested time off are allowed. Travelers must complete lab work and EKG/dysrhythmia exam requirements promptly.
