Position Overview

This is an on-site position in Munster, Indiana, is divided approximately equally between marketing and business development (50%) and financial client services (50%) .

The marketing responsibilities include improving our social media presence, executing our marketing calendar, coordinating client events, and following up with prospective clients. The financial services responsibilities include assisting advisors with client communications, meeting preparation, account paperwork, and routine administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates confidently, manages projects effectively, and follows through on commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Business Development — 50%

• Improve and maintain the firm's social media presence through consistent, professional, and engaging content.
• Execute the firm's marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns, communications, and planned activities are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate client appreciation events, educational seminars, investment presentations, and other firm-sponsored activities.
• Manage event invitations, RSVPs, scheduling, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
• Assist with newsletters, marketing materials, educational content, and client announcements.
• Conduct prospect outreach and follow up with referrals and prospective clients.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records of prospect contacts and follow-up activities.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, increase awareness of the firm's services, and generate new business.
• Track marketing activities and identify opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Ensure marketing materials and social media content follow applicable firm policies and compliance approval procedures.

Financial Client Services — 50%

• Assist financial advisors with client service activities and routine account maintenance.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain client files, forms, and documentation.
• Respond to routine client inquiries and coordinate requests with the appropriate team member.
• Prepare for client meetings by organizing financial information, account documents, and supporting materials.
• Assist with financial data entry, report preparation, and tracking outstanding paperwork.
• Monitor pending client requests and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records and support established compliance procedures.
• Protect confidential client information and provide professional, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Interest in social media, marketing, business development, and financial services.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete projects without constant supervision.
• Creativity and an interest in developing engaging marketing content.
• Experience with social media, digital marketing, event planning, or CRM systems is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop positive business relationships.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn CRM and financial software.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Previous experience in business, marketing, banking, financial services, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, communications, or a related field is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Compensation: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
• Flexible Part-Time Schedule: 24–30 hours per week or 40 hours for full time
