Registered Dental Hygienist Mooresville, IN Part-Time position Monday-8-6, Tuesday-8-5 Job Responsibilities: Examine patient oral health and requirements via screening methods, including medical history evaluation, dental charting, and periodontal charting Administer direct patient care following standard dental hygiene practices Record patient vital signs Conduct routine procedures such as scaling and polishing Capture diagnostic x-rays as requested by the dentist for treatment planning Apply sealants and fluoride treatments Handle electronic patient records Log dental history and primary complaint Document and relay significant clinical observations Instruct patients on preventing decay and gum disease through diet and home oral care Clean and sterilize instruments Prepare treatment plan as outlined by the dentist Discuss treatment plan and associated fees with the patient Clearly communicate patient concerns to the dentist Act as lead treatment coordinator Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: Must be dependable Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene certificate or associate degree program with active North Indiana hygienist license Capable of independent thinking and sound judgment Able to develop, influence, interpret, and/or apply operational procedures Demonstrates a team-focused approach to responsibilities Shows initiative, reliability, and punctuality Performs frequent repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail Adapts to varying assignments with a positive attitude Follows directions and takes ownership of actions Maintains strict confidentiality for patients and their care Reads and understands documents like safety guidelines, procedure manuals, and written correspondence Comprehends instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule formats If interested in this excellent opportunity, email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io; for a quicker response, text Cyn at View phone number on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr Broughton Group
