Private Client Services Associate - Junior to Mid-Level

Position Overview Arnold & Porter is seeking a first to fifth year trusts and estates associate for the Private Client Services Group in New York. The firm’s private‑client practice is recognized for handling sophisticated, highly sensitive matters on behalf of clients, including family offices, family business owners, and individuals. Responsibilities and Scope of Work Provide interdisciplinary counsel on estate planning, tax, real estate, family disputes, strategic business organization, and succession planning. Assist clients with trusts, estates, transfer tax, and associated income‑tax matters. Qualifications Experience in trusts and estates, transfer tax, and related income‑tax areas of the law. Minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience in the field. Current licensing, or eligibility to become licensed, to practice law in New York. Completion or pursuit of a LLM in taxation or estate planning is preferred. Significant and meaningful experience in international tax planning is a plus but not required.
