Your Role at Baxter As a Territory Business Manager, you represent our Advanced Surgery division, promoting our hemostats, sealing, and tissue products in an assigned geography. You build trust with doctors and nurses, advise on the accurate use of our products in on-label surgical procedures, and help surgical teams innovate freely in the operating room. Responsibilities Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of all products and services. Grow awareness and educate physicians on the accurate use of our products and the features and benefits of our portfolio. Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information, and deliver demonstrations. Maintain effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect; consistently meet internal and external customer expectations and requirements. Monitor sales against forecasts and help determine market potential for the territory, staying informed about market strategies, tactics, and competition. Coordinate with hospital administration, supply chain management, materials management, and purchasing. Demonstrate support for other people and teams, contributing beyond your own scope of responsibilities. Provide feedback to your supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing programs, product line revisions, and pricing changes. Work autonomously to achieve established goals while proactively communicating with management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or 8+ years of operating room sales experience; high school diploma required. Proven experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room and leading a large territory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and social skills. At least 50% travel required; may involve visits to remote or urban areas individually or with other personnel across several states. Willingness to live within the current geography or relocate; familiarity with the posted territory is strongly desired. Valid driver’s license. Compensation The estimated pay range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with the potential for additional earnings through a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) based on performance. Actual pay may vary by location, skills, experience, and market conditions.
