How youll make an impact in this role

• Operated nuclear medicine cameras to deliver high-quality images to radiologists and physicians.

• Safely prepared, administered, and disposed of radioactive drugs according to protocol.

• Managed accurate patient positioning, technical factors, and flawless PACS data submission.

• Monitored equipment functionality, handled malfunctions, and executed lock/tag-out procedures.

• Maintained a safe, clean, and orderly department to optimize patient care and workflow.

What minimum requirements youll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire
  date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
