Job Summary
The Personal Care Aide (PCA) is responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role plays a vital part in improving the quality of life for those who require personal care assistance due to age, disability, or illness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation assistance
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, following dietary guidelines
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and maintaining a clean environment
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental health to supervisors
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus but not required
• Prior experience in personal care, healthcare, or a related field is beneficial but not required—training provided
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements
