Overview
MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Cumming, GA, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 and runs for 16 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12-hour days on a weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday). Weekly pay ranges from $2,172 to $2,257 per week. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles. This role supports an imaging department in a hospital-based setting and requires collaboration with radiology staff and clinicians.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using approved protocols, sequences, and coils for adult and pediatric patients
- Position patients, conduct safety screening, monitor during scanning, and manage contrast administration as required
- Optimize image quality by selecting appropriate parameters and addressing artifacts
- Document imaging procedures and results in the Cerner EMR; communicate findings with radiologists and referring clinicians
- Maintain imaging equipment, perform routine quality checks, and uphold infection control and safety standards

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) or ARRT (RT) certification
- AHA BLS required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program
- Cerner EMR experience
- Availability for the weekend schedule and major/minor holiday requirements
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Ability to work in a high-volume imaging department (approximately 25–30 patients per day)
