Executive Home Care of Southeast & Seacoast New Hampshire is seeking a warm dependable and compassionate Companion Caregiver to provide meaningful companionship and everyday support to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

As a Companion Caregiver youll help clients remain engaged connected and comfortable while supporting their independence and quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors and making a positive difference in their day.

What Youll Do

• Provide friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
• Spend quality time with clients through activities such as reading games puzzles crafts music or watching favorite programs
• Accompany clients on walks appointments shopping trips or other outings as appropriate
• Assist with errands and everyday tasks that help clients remain independent
• Prepare simple meals snacks and beverages
• Help with light household tasks such as tidying laundry dishes and organizing
• Provide reminders for appointments activities and daily routines
• Encourage social engagement and participation in hobbies and interests
• Provide a reassuring presence and emotional support
• Observe and communicate changes in a clients mood behavior or overall well-being to the appropriate team member
• Maintain a safe respectful and comfortable environment for every client
• Follow each clients individualized care plan and company policies

What Were Looking For

• A compassionate patient and dependable personality
• Genuine interest in helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life
• Previous caregiving companion senior care hospitality customer service or related experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and develop positive relationships with clients and families
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a clients home
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet applicable employment requirements
• Dementia or Alzheimers experience/training is a plus
• LNA or PCA certification is welcome but not required for a companion care position

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
