Full-Time Nanny

Are you a retired teacher or teaching professional who is seeking a small environment rather than a classroom? If so, we welcome you to our on-call team, working around your flexible schedule! Full-time and Part-Time positions are now available in Seattle and the Eastside. As a back-up nanny, you will: Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2! Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development We provide: Pay: $20-25 per hour Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments Enjoy opportunities to advance in the childcare field, and have the first chance to be placed with families seeking one consistent nanny, both full or part-time Benefits include: medical stipend, paid vacation time, paid holidays, student loan repayment matching funds, or retirement savings matching funds for full-time work Bonuses for excellent feedback and various contests for gift cards and extra cash About you: At least 18 years old Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area You are available Monday - Friday for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm Working Conditions and Requirements: Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play Essential Physical Requirements: Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
