Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) in a healthcare facility located in Somerset, Kentucky. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art, 305-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county area. The role is critical in supporting cardiac care and neurosurgery programs, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Pediatric (PEDS), with 1-2 years of relevant experience, and the candidate must be located 60 miles or greater from the healthcare facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients and familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. The unit serves pediatric populations and maintains a low patient-to-provider ratio to ensure quality care. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and committed to delivering compassionate patient-centered services.
