Obstetrics physician employment in Florida : Duties - Performs a range of medical duties within the clinic within the scope of OB-GYN practice; examines patients; makes diagnosis; administers treatment, and performs routine OB-GYN procedures. - Orders and interprets laboratory and radiological tests. Incumbent should have expertise in both abdominal and transvaginal ultrasonography as pertains to ambulatory OB-GYN care. - Incumbent must be able to utilize and perform screening and diagnostic modalities for GYN malignancies (biopsies/Colposcopies). - As appropriate, refers patients to others as required for further evaluation either on an outpatient or inpatient basis. - Serves as a consultant on OB-GYN related issues to Primary Care providers. - Serves as a consultant to the Commander regarding OB-GYN services.
