Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: 1.5 years of In-Patient Rehabilitation experience within the last 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: Current CPR Certification required, ACLS certification preferred if in charge nurse role Must-Have: - Ability to fill in for charge nurse as needed - Commitment to patient care and a positive work environment - Strong work ethic and motivation Description: Inpatient hospital experience in a rehabilitation setting is needed. Candidates should be prepared to take on charge nurse responsibilities when necessary. On-call duty is not required. All patients are admitted for acute inpatient rehabilitation, typically requiring a stay of about 14 days. Candidates should be proactive, motivated, and genuinely invested in patient care. The facility values the skills and input of its employees. Employees are treated with dignity and respect, and there are opportunities for education and training. A collaborative and supportive atmosphere is prioritized, recognizing and rewarding employee contributions. Potential hires should understand that the environment is a hospital setting, not a nursing home or long-term acute care facility. The position requires working every other weekend. Any request for time off must be made at the time of submission. Adequate notice of more than 24 hours is required for any call outs. COVID-19 vaccination is required along with a booster, with medical or religious exemptions allowed. Flu vaccination is also required, and there are exemptions and declinations permitted. Candidates should be open to a flexible schedule and be willing to float between units if necessary.
