This function supports critical manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, office, and infrastructure operations through strategic management of facilities, utilities, building systems, and workplace services. This role is based at our North Haven, Connecticut facility and is an onsite position requiring regular presence to support site operations, infrastructure reliability, and business continuity activities.The Senior Facilities Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for campus facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and workplace services across a complex site environment. This role is accountable for facility reliability, capital planning, operational performance, regulatory compliance, and team leadership while partnering across multiple functions to support business objectives and long-term site needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead campus facilities operations, including utilities, infrastructure, workplace services, and building systemsEnsure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective support for manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, office, and critical support environmentsDirect facility design, construction, maintenance, and infrastructure improvement projects to support business growth and operational performanceDevelop and manage operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and project schedules for facilities and infrastructure activitiesOversee capital expenditure planning and execution, including prioritization and delivery of site investment projectsPartner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Environmental Health and Safety, Supply Chain, Security, and Finance leaders to support business continuity and operational excellence initiativesManage outsourced service providers and vendor relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and accountabilityBuild, coach, and develop a high-performing facilities organization aligned with current and future business requirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and 7+ years of facilities management experience OR advanced degree and 5+ years of facilities management experience5+ years of people leadership experienceExperience managing multi-million-dollar operating budgetsExperience leading capital expenditure planning and project executionExperience supporting facility operations within manufacturing, laboratory, industrial, or similarly complex environmentsPreferred QualificationsCertified Facilities Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certificationAdvanced degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA)Experience supporting multiple facilities or campus environmentsExperience within a regulated industry, preferably medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciencesExperience with commercial or industrial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building automation, or cleanroom systemsFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.?The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$134,400.00 - $201,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
