Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in a travel, hospital setting, Kansas City, KS, United States. The assignment starts 09/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,093 to $2,227. There are no guaranteed hours. The shift is 3x12-hour nights. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital operating room environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in the OR for cases in ENT, Neuro, or surgical oncology, including patient monitoring, sterile technique, positioning, instrument handling, and collaboration with the surgical team.
- Support anesthesia and surgeons to ensure patient safety, accurate counts, proper specimen handling, and efficient case flow; document intraoperative events in the electronic health record.
- Prepare and manage instrumentation, supplies, and room turnover to maintain readiness for subsequent cases.
- Be prepared to float to all OR areas as needed; adhere to facility policies, including the nicotine-free environment; no on-call requirements.

Requirements
- Current KS or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Proficiency in ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or surgical oncology (robotics)
- Ability to float to all ORs as needed and to work 3x12-hour night shifts
- Holidays not required and no on-call duties
- New graduates not accepted; credentials due 1 week prior to start
- Orientation and onboarding will align with Mon/Tues in-person sessions and EPIC training
