Health Systems Executive - Infectious Disease Diagnostics - Great Lakes

Abbott seeks a Health Systems Account Executive for its Infectious Disease Diagnostics division covering the Great Lakes territory. The role involves developing strategic relationships with hospital systems, managing a portfolio of diagnostic products, and driving revenue growth through executive-level engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage executive-level relationships with hospital systems to drive contracts and revenue targets
Identify strategic opportunities, establish reference sites, and build partnerships with key opinion leaders
Conduct regular customer business reviews, manage contracts, and analyze competitive landscape
Collaborate with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and technical teams to support high-value accounts
Analyze market trends and forecast business performance for strategic accounts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Minimum 6 years calling on large health systems
Deep knowledge of laboratory and point-of-care settings, health system operations
Understanding of health economics and financial analysis
Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight within territory
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
