Greenskeeper

Greenskeeper PositionRouge Park Golf Course is looking for greenskeepers for the golf season. The greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and the game of golf. Beginner greenskeepers are welcome – while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions will be available.Responsibilities:Maintains clean work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityHelps with the daily set-up of the golf courseMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasRakes and maintains sand bunkersAssists in turf maintenance practices such as aerifying, topdressing, and seedingPerforms general landscape maintenance using handheld toolsQualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.A valid driver's license.Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.Commitment to safety procedures and environmental best practices.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
