What You’ll Do: Complete residential plumbing services including water heater replacements, water heater installations, water service piping, home plumbing repair, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, sewer repairs, and sewer replacements. Fit various household appliances. Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve problems. Prepare cost estimates. Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks). Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. Handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.). What You’ll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completed or are currently enrolled in Trade School is preferred. Currently own the appropriate hand and power tools required for the trade. Previous residential service plumbing experience is required. Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces. Ability to braze & solder. Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record. Aptitude for plumbing trade. Safety and customer service oriented. Fluent English-speaking and writing skills. Driving Requirements Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Must have positive points on state driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted. Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years. All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team. Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Because our technicians come to us with varying levels of experience, we chose to post a pay range that is inclusive of the different experience levels and growth opportunities within the role.
