Your Role

• Conduct an array of clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyaccording to established protocols.
• Investigate results for accuracy, rectify errors, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, train new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a similar allied health degree, along with readiness to achieve ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ongoing certification must be maintained throughout your tenure.
