Laser Material HandlerOur client, in Clare MI is seeking a Laser Material Handler to join their team. As a Laser Material Handler, you will be part of the Production team, helping keep materials moving in and out of the plant so production can run smoothly and meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic to support inventory accuracy and quality outcomes.Location: Clare, MIPay Range: $20Shift: 6 am - 4 pm (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) *Friday is used for overtime when neededWhat's the Job?Safely operate a forklift to load and unload material for production flowRemove laser-cut parts from laser nests, then sort and organize parts for next stepsDistribute materials to the appropriate locations and support efficient material kittingReceive, verify, store, and track all material inventory while maintaining clean, organized storage areasRead and interpret blueprints and bill of materials to ensure parts comply with established specifications and quality guidelinesWhat's Needed?At least 2 years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)High school diploma or GED, plus the ability to read and utilize a tape measure, and use basic measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer)Ability to read prints and understand dimensions on parts, and to read/complete required forms and paperworkFamiliarity with laser operations/manufacturing processes, including programming experience for laser (as applicable to the role)Computer system proficiency to input and retrieve data as needed, along with forklift operation experienceWhat's in it for me?Work in a production environment where your accuracy and safety directly support customer deliveryBuild strong warehouse and inventory skills by managing storage cleanliness, organization, and trackingUse blueprint and quality guideline knowledge to help ensure parts meet specificationContribute to keeping production running efficiently by supporting material flow and kittingWork with a team that values clear communication when problems or delays ariseUpon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
