Tax Intern

Applicants must submit most recent detailed transcript (unofficial or official) to View email address on click.appcast.io for consideration.Internships will run between January 19th through April 15th, 2027 with a minimum 20 hours per week and flexible scheduling.Internship Learning ObjectivesGain hands-on experience in professional client relations within a public accounting settingDevelop an understanding of various software and tools that are used by the firm to prepare client returnsGain a further understanding of the IRS code and preparation of individual, business and trust tax returns for clientsLearn the process of completing a tax return from inquiry, gathering information, client follow-up, and completion of the tax returnUnderstand how a firm trains its personnel and how training enhances work requirementsDevelop a skillset of gathering questions and asking appropriate personnel for assistanceDevelop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels (staff, managers or partners)Develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time.
