Senior Scientist/Engineer

ERG seeks a senior scientist/engineer to support our work for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We support research projects for federal and non-profit clients and seek support on projects focused on characterizing hazardous waste sites and evaluating remedial alternatives. The position will involve close collaboration with diverse practices across ERG. Responsibilities Provide research support on research projects for the U.S. EPA, states, and nonprofit organizations. Review Superfund site documents, conduct mathematical modeling, write and edit reports. Collaborate frequently with employees from related disciplines. Analyze and interpret scientific data as required for projects. Qualifications Ph.D. plus 5 years of experience with hazardous waste remediation. Strong written communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and data analysis skills. Applied experience with quantitative research activities in an academic or professional setting. Experience developing written products for technical and non‑technical audiences.
