Data Solution Architect

As a Senior Data Architect you can expect to… Architect, lead, and deliver complex data modernization projects leveraging Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and related Azure services Lead on-prem to Azure migrations, including hybrid strategies and modernization of legacy warehouses into lakehouse and delta lake architectures Design and implement data integration frameworks across D365 F&O, CE, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and 3rd-party APIs using Data API Gateways and Azure-native tools Build and optimize advanced pipelines in Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for full and incremental loads, both from cloud and on-prem sources Drive performance tuning in Databricks and Synapse environments and establish best practices for scalable and cost-efficient data architectures Implement Delta Lake capabilities (SCDs, schema evolution, CDC) to support enterprise-grade analytical use cases Apply governance, observability, and security frameworks using Azure Purview, Key Vault, and modern Data Mesh principles Lead the design and implementation of reusable, automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell, and GitHub Partner with cross-functional Microsoft service line teams (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure Infra, Modern Work) to ensure holistic solution delivery Contribute to client roadmaps, strategy sessions, and proposals as a data SME and trusted advisor. Lead in steering committee meetings and facilitate communication with all parties involved Ensure customer satisfaction Ensure adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and compliance requirements You’re great at… Handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneously Driving on-prem to Azure data journeys across large enterprises Designing modern data estates using data lakehouse, mesh, and microservices architectures Building near-real-time ingestion, Kafka/Event Hub pipelines, or similar Using Azure AI/ML tools (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services) to layer intelligence into solutions Building out deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ARM/Bicep, and PowerShell Explaining highly technical concepts to C-level, technical, and business audiences with clarity Mentoring data engineers, guides solution design, and owns delivery quality across multi-team engagements Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle Working in a highly collaborative team environment Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards Solving complex problems with creative solutions Learning new concepts quickly and thoroughly Promoting the mission andShared Values of our company Sound interesting? If so, you’ll have… Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10+ years of experience in data architecture, ETL, data warehousing, and cloud transformation Expertise with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Spark, ADF, ADLS, Python, SQL/T-SQL, and Azure Functions Experience optimizing cloud cost, performance, and scale across modern data platforms Deep understanding of Data Mesh, Delta Lake, Azure Purview, and data observability/governance frameworks Proven experience building real-time ingestion and processing frameworks and scalable data platforms Strong understanding of Common Data Model (CDM), Dataverse, Power BI Dataflows, and data integrations with D365 and enterprise platforms Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, Logic Apps, runbooks, DevOps pipelines, and PowerShell scripting Hands-on experience with ARM templates, Git, and CI/CD automation in enterprise environments Strong communication skills and ability to lead client-facing architecture discussions and technical delivery Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong understanding of business processes/business process analysis Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and ability to guide clients through challenging problems The Perks We offer competitive pay with and performance-based bonus.
