Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,840 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN in Med Surg / Telemetry for a position in Burlington, Massachusetts. Job Summary The role involves working in a 7‑central unit encompassing orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and multispecialty services. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience, be licensed in Massachusetts, and have expertise with Epic EMR and level 1 trauma. Work Details Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour night shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Shift: overnight, every other weekend required Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide bedside nursing care for complex medical, trauma, orthopedics, and neurology patients. Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, breathing treatments, and other clinical responsibilities independently. Operate ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, Lumex, PCA pumps, CADD pumps, and peripheral nerve catheters. Float to medical‑surgical inpatient units and the emergency department as needed. Maintain patient‑to‑nurse ratios of 4–6:1 during day shifts and 5–6:1 during night shifts. Assist with student and new hire orientation and support. Required Qualifications Valid Massachusetts nursing license Minimum 2 years of experience in medical‑surgical or telemetry nursing Epic electronic medical record experience Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Level 1 trauma experience At least 6 months separation from BILH for all employment types Preferred Qualifications Prior travel nursing experience Additional Information Day‑one pass/fail testing will be administered. ReliaS practice tests available. Experience with complex medical patients requiring special precautions (hip, C‑Spine). Candidate will receive a day‑one pass/fail assessment and mandatory separation from BILH.
