Role Overview As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coordinator , you will lead daily laboratory operations while ensuring high-quality diagnostic services, regulatory compliance, and team development. Key Responsibilities Coordinating and leading daily laboratory operations, including scheduling and supervisory responsibilities Prioritizing, delegating, and overseeing all phases of the laboratory process Ensuring adherence to all laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards Overseeing quality assurance and quality management programs and addressing process deviations Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and system-wide requirements, including proficiency testing Leading staff education, training, and competency validation Serving as a mentor, trainer, and resource for laboratory team members Assisting with data collection and monitoring to support laboratory performance goals Supporting operational leadership responsibilities in the absence of a manager or supervisor Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field Experience Required: 4 Years of Clinical laboratory experience Licensure / Certification Required: State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License What We Offer BayCare provides a competitive total rewards package designed to support your career and well‑being, including: Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance Wellness programs and community perks Take the Next Step Step into a leadership role at BayCare and help ensure high-quality laboratory operations that support exceptional patient care.
