Co-Founder & Capital Raise Executive
iThrive
Job Description
The Opportunity
\n \niThrive is seeking a Co-Founder & Capital Raise Executive to work alongside the Founder & CEO and lead the capital raise required to scale the company.
\n \nThe primary responsibility of this role is clear: raise the capital required for iThrive's next stage of growth.
\n \nWe are looking for an accomplished entrepreneur and operator who knows how to access capital, activate investor relationships, build an investor pipeline, communicate an investment opportunity, and lead a financing process from introduction through closing.
\n \nIdeally, this person has also built, scaled, and exited a company and understands firsthand what it takes to move an entrepreneurial business from an operating foundation into its next stage of growth.
\n \nJust as importantly, we are looking for the right steward, someone who leads with integrity, has a heart for service, values relationships and community, and finds purpose in helping others succeed.
\n \nThis is not an advisory fundraising role. We are looking for someone who will personally take ownership of the capital raise, become a Co-Founder and owner, and help build and scale the company.
\n \nThe technology, infrastructure, business model, Market Network, and initial applications are built. The foundation is here. The next objective is to raise the capital and scale it.
\n \nAbout iThrive
\n \niThrive is the Market Network for the Workforce, powered by a proprietary Workforce Operating System and operating the infrastructure of the World's First Workforce Sharing Economy.
\n \nAirbnb members monetize homes. Uber members monetize cars. iThrive enables people and organizations to monetize the talent supply chain.
\n \niThrive orchestrates that supply chain by identifying participation, assigning value to the roles performed, and sharing the economics among the participants who help create it.
\n \niThrive has been bootstrapped by its Founder. More than $1 million has been invested in the technology and infrastructure, and the predecessor business proved the underlying economic model by paying out millions of dollars in commissions.
\n \nOur first application is the Staffing Marketplace, with millions of dollars in shareable staffing commissions.
\n \nOur Gigs Marketplace and Intelligence Marketplace are next, with additional applications and services on the roadmap.
\n \niThrive operates at the intersection of two massive global markets, staffing and the gig economy, each projected to surpass $2 trillion by 2030.
\n \nThe infrastructure is designed to support more than 50 workforce applications and services over time.
\n \nThe Opportunity to Scale
\n \nThe foundation is built. Now we are preparing to raise capital and scale it.
\n \nOur next stage includes growing marketing, go-to-market, engineering, AI capabilities, membership, strategic partnerships, applications, services, revenue, and economic activity across the platform.
\nCapital is the catalyst.
\n \nThe Co-Founder & Capital Raise Executive will take the lead in developing investor relationships and securing the financial resources required to accelerate that growth.
\n \nWho We Are Looking For
\n \nWe are looking for an experienced entrepreneurial leader who combines capital raising experience with real operating experience.
\n \nThe ideal candidate understands both 0 to 1 and 1 to N: how to build something, prove it, capitalize it, and scale it.
\n \n- \n
- Demonstrated success raising capital for entrepreneurial or growth companies. \n
- An established network of investors and the willingness to personally activate those relationships. \n
- Experience with angel investors, family offices, venture capital, private equity, strategic investors, and other capital sources. \n
- Founded, co-founded, operated, or significantly scaled a business. \n
- Ideally participated in a successful acquisition, exit, or liquidity event. \n
- Experience developing and communicating investment opportunities, financial models, market opportunities, and growth strategies. \n
- Experience leading investor presentations, negotiations, diligence, and financing processes. \n
- Strong business development, strategic partnership, go-to-market, and financial judgment. \n
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, strategic combinations, or other corporate transactions. \n
- Ability to operate entrepreneurially and create value before significant resources are available. \n
- Experience with staffing, workforce technology, marketplaces, SaaS, platforms, data, or AI is beneficial. \n
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can personally lead the capital raise and help get iThrive funded.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n \nThe Co-Founder & Capital Raise Executive will initially focus on raising the capital required to scale iThrive.
\n \n- \n
- Take ownership of and lead iThrive's capital raise. \n
- Personally drive the raise from initial investor identification through closing. \n
- Identify and engage qualified investors and sources of capital. \n
- Activate existing relationships with angel investors, family offices, venture investors, private equity firms, strategic investors, and other capital sources. \n
- Build and manage a qualified investor pipeline. \n
- Lead investor outreach, introductions, presentations, follow-up, and relationship development. \n
- Communicate the iThrive investment story, business model, market opportunity, financial model, technology platform, and growth strategy. \n
- Manage the financing process through diligence, negotiations, and closing. \n
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO on capitalization strategy, valuation, financing structure, and investor negotiations. \n
- Evaluate strategic investments, joint ventures, acquisitions, strategic combinations, and other alternatives that could provide capital, capabilities, distribution, technology, or scale. \n
- Following the capital raise, help build the organization, operating structure, go-to-market engine, partnerships, membership, and revenue required to scale iThrive. \n
- Participate as a Co-Founder and owner in building and scaling the company. \n
Why This Is Different
\n \nMost opportunities to raise capital begin with a concept and a pitch deck.
\n \nThis one begins with an operating foundation.
\n \nThe company has been bootstrapped. More than $1 million has been invested in the technology and infrastructure. The technology and Workforce Operating System are built. The Market Network and Staffing Marketplace are operating.
\n \nThe predecessor business paid out millions of dollars in commissions.
\n \nStaffing was first. Gigs and Intelligence are next. Additional workforce applications and services can follow on the same underlying infrastructure.
\n \nThe opportunity sits within two enormous global markets, staffing and the gig economy, each projected to surpass $2 trillion by 2030.
\n \nWe are not raising capital to build the concept.
\n \nWe are raising capital to scale what has already been built.
\n \nEquity Ownership and Leadership Path
\n \nThis is initially an equity-based entrepreneurial opportunity.
\n \nThe Co-Founder & Capital Raise Executive will have the opportunity to earn meaningful ownership in iThrive based on role, commitment, contribution, and results.
\n \nThe initial priority is to lead and close the capital raise required to fund iThrive's next stage of growth.
\nFollowing a successful capital raise, the Co-Founder will transition into a broader operating leadership role, working directly with the Founder & CEO to deploy the capital, build the organization, grow revenue, expand the Market Network, and scale the company.
\n \nThe role includes a defined path to ultimately succeed the Founder as CEO of iThrive.
\n \nWe are looking for more than someone who can raise capital. We are looking for an entrepreneur and operator who can fund it, scale it, and ultimately lead it.
\n \nHow to Apply
\n \nIf you have raised capital, built and operated companies, developed investor relationships, and ideally experienced a successful exit, we would like to hear from you.
