And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilities- Design and manage high and medium voltage substation systems across multiple geographical regions- Develop comprehensive electrical infrastructure designs using advanced engineering software- Collaborate with regional vendors, manufacturers, and utility providers to specify optimal electrical equipment- Create detailed construction documents and technical specifications that meet rigorous quality standards- Support project lifecycle from site selection through commissioning and system validation.A day in the lifeYour day will be a dynamic blend of technical design, collaborative problem-solving, and strategic planning. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.Basic qualifications- Experience with design or construction administration of a variety of electrical distribution systems ranging from low voltage to high voltage- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents- Experience with EPMS/SCADA/BMS controls system software or hardware- Experience in project management or as a project lead including RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams and facilitating meetings- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office SuitePreferred qualification - Professional Engineering or Architectural License- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities- Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance- Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processingAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
