Inventory Coordinator

$25 per hour depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY of the Inventory Coordinator  

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility.  The Inventory Coordinator will also monitor our Copacking inventory levels and product movement.

Essential functions, Job duties and responsibilities of the Inventory Coordinator   

• Perform weekly cycle count sampling inventory audit, make all adjustments and reconcile any significant variance.  Track ongoing variance issues and report weekly.  Count full goods inventory and reconcile to JBA monthly.
• Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Communication to Planning, Warehousing and Finance of significant inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate inventory destruction program with warehouse, planning and finance personnel insuring timely resolution and processing.
• Documenting and control aged & damaged product (FIFO).
• Work closely with Logistics Manager on full good needs, reconciling discrepancies of full goods by pallet vs. JBA aggregate inventory balance.
• Obsolete and promo item transitions, write offs and reporting.
• Cycle counting and System 21 adjustments.
• Inventories monthly / annual – counting reconciling.
• Work with Logistics Manager and Raw Materials Coordinator to report and reconcile all co-packing full goods and material submit SAP true ups.
• Ship-Start reporting of Copack loads.
• Trans-shipment reporting for Pepsi-Co.
• Weekly conference calls as needed.
• Coverage for Logistics Planner vacation time
• Responsible for Compliance with all GMPs & Safety Policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES of the Inventory Coordinator  

• Must have interpersonal, analytical, and statistical skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint, SAP Preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred combination of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The employee must be able to work 8+ hour shifts. 
• The ability to work occasional weekends when required.
• The employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms on a frequent basis.
• The employee must be able to work in a cold, hot, wet, and/or humid environment.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
