Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Day Shift | Tuesday - Friday

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support an Outpatient Hematology Oncology Clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong oncology knowledge, experience working with oncology medications and treatment workflows, and advanced proficiency in Epic EMR. Prior infusion experience is highly preferred, along with strong IV insertion and injection administration skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment responses
• Administer oncology-related medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Perform IV insertions, injections, and vascular access procedures
• Support infusion-related patient care when needed
• Document patient care, assessments, and treatments accurately in Epic EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, infusion nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with oncology care standards, safety protocols, and clinic policies

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• ONS/ONCC Certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong knowledge of oncology medications and treatment workflows
• Excellent IV insertion and injection administration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outpatient Oncology experience
• Hematology Oncology clinic experience
• Infusion nursing experience
• OCN Certification
• Strong patient education and communication skills
