Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with a minimum of 2 years' recent emergency department experience and a required MN RN license.

Details

• 15-bed Level III Emergency Department with 4 fast track rooms and 1 triage area"
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
• Acute care setting with an annual ED visit volume around 28,000 or higher
• 12-hour night shifts with every third weekend required
• Floating to Med Surg as needed
• No on-call requirement and never work alone
• Uses EPIC EMR and Accudose, with training provided during orientation

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• Trauma Level III or higher ED experience preferred
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Implement the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document patient care across the continuum
• Perform dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at an adjusted rate
