Operations Specialist
Location: Hazel, MN
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $20/hour
Potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime and weekends during busy season.
We are looking for an Operations Specialist to help with daily work at a grain facility in Hazel, MN . This is a hands-on job working with equipment, trucks, railcars, and general facility maintenance.
What you will do:
- Load and unload trucks and railcars.
- Help unload and move grain and other products.
- Operate equipment such as loaders, forklifts, conveyors, and tractors.
- Help with basic equipment maintenance and greasing.
- Clean and maintain the work area.
- Check equipment and report any problems or safety issues.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Help the team with other daily tasks as needed.
What we are looking for:
- At least 1 year of experience in operations, warehouse, farming, construction, manufacturing, or similar work.
- Comfortable working around machinery, grain, and dust.
- Comfortable working at heights, ladders, stairs, and railcars.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds .
- Willing to work overtime and weekends during the busy harvest season.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Good team player.
Preferred experience:
- Farming or agriculture.
- Grain elevator experience.
- Equipment or maintenance work.
- Forklift, loader, tractor, or heavy equipment experience.
