Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience in a school, youth services, or related setting preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, crisis intervention, and behavioral management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseloads and provide both individual and group support effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for at-risk students
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies that support student well-being and academic performance
• Participate in IEP meetings, support special education needs, and ensure compliance with all school, state, and federal guidelines
• Connect students and families to community resources and coordinate outside services as needed
• Promote positive school climate and facilitate workshops on social-emotional learning topics
