If the answer to these questions is yes, then we need to talk.We are a company dedicated to a set of core values which provide the foundation for building a company we are proud of while purposely creating value for our residents, team members and clients.Dietz Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at two of our residential communities in the Blacklick, OH area.We offer a competitive base wage, commissions, and a great benefits package including: Weekly On Call Stipend, Annual Tool Stipend, Medical/Dental/Vision, Heath (HSA) and Flexible (FSA) Spending Accounts, Disability and Life Insurance, 401k (with Company match), and generous paid time off program including Paid Sick Leave, 12 Paid Holidays, Charitable Time Off, Paid Jury Duty, Bereavement Leave, and more!OVERVIEW:As Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for the repair and upkeep of the community by doing the following:Supervision of maintenance technicians and/or grounds keeperTeam coaching and developmentMaking recommendations, obtaining proposals and oversight of unit rehabilitation and capital improvement projectsPerforming and overseeing resident service requestsEnsuring exceptional product readinessPerforming and overseeing grounds maintenanceMaintenance inventoryMaintenance budget and expense controlPreventative maintenanceCoordination and oversight of maintenance vendors and city inspectionsReporting to the Community DirectorIn addition to the daily management and planning of technician tasks, the person chosen for this role will also be responsible for understanding, applying and adhering to OSHA safety standardsTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience with at least 1 year as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead TechExcellent skills in carpentry, electrical and plumbing and at least 3 years experience using these professionallyProven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage 1-2 maintenance techsA great customer service attitudeProven ability to effectively supervise vendorsAbility to successfully manage capital improvement projectsA valid, current driver's licenseHVAC certification is preferredPrevious apartment maintenance experience preferredWORK SCHEDULE:This is a full-time position and on-call hours are scheduled on a rotating basis.READY TO JOIN OUR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM?Interested?
