Operating Room Nurse in Florida The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room to join the team on a full-time basis. The role involves independently planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients, providing direct patient care, and assuming leadership responsibilities within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
• Location: Florida
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association; Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association; 0 years of recent OR experience; EPIC system experience required, with candidate expected to pass an assessment on the first day of assignment.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include locating and documenting medical and nursing information, administering medications safely, evaluating patient outcomes, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and maintaining current policies and standards. On-call duties are required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to locate and document medical and nursing patient care information accurately in electronic or paper records.
