About the Role
Great Basin Staffing is hiring two General Laborers for a fast, two-day commercial kitchen install. You’ll help unload heavy equipment, move it into place, uncrate/peel wrap, assemble light furnishings, and keep the work area clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload semi-trailer with 50+ lb commercial kitchen equipment (team lifts/material handling).
- Move equipment into the building; position per site direction.
- Peel plastic, uncrate equipment, and dispose of packaging (break down cardboard/film).
- Assemble basic items: tables, chairs, shelving .
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow crew lead instructions.
Requirements
- Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly ; stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-minded; follow directions and site protocols.
- Full PPE required: hard hat, grip gloves , safety glasses, hi-vis vest or T-shirt , steel-toe shoes .
- Basic hand-tool familiarity (Allen keys, wrenches, screwdrivers).
- Valid ID for site check-in; eligibility to work in the U.S.
Schedule & Logistics
- Two consecutive days , full shifts (expect 8–10 hours/day ; possible OT if needed).
- Indoor/outdoor transitions; loading dock and finished-space handling.
- Paid via W2 , standard payroll cycle.
Schedule:
Monday, August 24th & Tuesday, August 25th
Expect full shifts (8 hours each day), with potential OT if needed.
