We are seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson for our location in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Parts Counterperson Requirements

One year of experience related to the sales of automotive parts and services
Basic understanding of diesel parts and equipment
Familiarity with inventory management systems and parts databases
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to diagnose customer issues and identify parts needed
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to stand and be physically active during your shift
Physical ability to frequently life and move up to 50 pounds
Must have a valid driver's license

Parts Counterperson R esponsibilities

Answer phone calls and greet in person customers
Identify parts needed based on customer descriptions and equipment details
Use computer databases and online resources to look up part numbers, pricing information and availability
Maintain lost sales tracking
Process customer orders
Provide the same support to Service Technicians and Outside Sales Associates
Assist in regular cycle counts
Process core returns and exchanges
