Inpatient Pharmacist - UCLA West Valley Medical Center

In this role, you will performa range of functions that include the preparation and dispensing of drugs inall inpatient settings; maintenance and review of patient medication profiles;counseling patients on appropriate drug use; reviewing medication orders andpatient's medical record as well as interacting with other health professionalsto help prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications; provision of clinicalservices (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/POconversions, TPN per pharmacy, pharmacist interventions) according todepartmental policy and procedures.

Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays.

Hourly Salary Range: $91.06 - $106.67

Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE

We're seeking a dedicated clinical professional with:

• Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required).
• ACLS (required).
• ASHP-accredited residency (preferred).
• 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (preferred).
• ER experience (strongly preferred).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
• Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
