Job Description

Qualifications/Experience

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
• State licensure (NC) in Radiologic Technology, or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in CT imaging within a hospital or healthcare facility
• Familiarity with multi-slice CT scanners and cross-sectional anatomy
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Core Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with an emphasis on safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Perform quality control and routine maintenance checks on imaging equipment
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records
