Low Voltage Technician

We offer a range of services including: fire sprinkler systems, security /intrusion /camera/access systems, fire alarm and detection systems, special hazards systems, voice data systems and fire extinguisher products. Premier Fire & Security is searching for Low Voltage Technicians to join our team! We take our mission “to protect lives and property” very seriously. Technicians will install, service, and repair fire alarm and security wiring as well as other various low voltage equipment (CCTV, Access Controls, Security systems, Special Hazards equipment, etc). Responsibilities: Install and program new fire alarms, security systems, access control and camera systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm, security systems, access controls and security camera systems. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all systems Monitor inventory of service parts on company vehicle when training has progressed to such a level. Qualifications: Previous experience preferred in install/service of fire alarm, security systems, access control and/or cameras. 2 years experience in inspections, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems preferred. NICET Certification in Fire Alarm, and/or Special Hazards preferred. Familiarity with hand/ power tools, uploading/downloading/programming. Adaptability to change in an innovative technology industry, that is ever evolving. Ability to bend at the waist and knees, as some confined space work is necessary.
