Here at Cornerstone Caregiving Scranton PA, we are looking for people committed to making a difference in the lives of area seniors.
Shifts include 11pm-7am, 8am-1pm, and 8am-8pm with other possible shifts available depending on willingness to travel. Core Responsibilities of Personal Care: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.Daily Living Support: Assist with medication reminders, meal preparation tailored to client needs, and light housekeeping.
Mobility & Transport: Help clients move safely around the home and provide transportation to appointments.
Companionship & Monitoring: Monitor client well-being, follow individualized care plans, and communicate condition changes to supervisors or family members. Flexible shifts, mostly daytime hours, some evening.
Great part time job for students in healthcare field or semi-retired adults. Qualifications: Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive to your clients’ homes.
Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School diploma/GED
Previous experience working with seniors preferred, Alzheimer's Dementia experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, senior clients and, co-workers
Superior compassion, commitment, care, and customer service skills
Certified Nurse’s Aid certification is a plus.
Must be dependable and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills Benefits/Compensation
