Physician Assistant-Occupational Medicine

Position Overview Banner Occupational Health and Wellness, a division of Banner Health, is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant for the Phoenix Metro Area. This role includes a $5,000 sign‑on bonus and the chance to join a large, multistate occupational health program. Responsibilities Perform baseline and annual physical exams; evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions, infectious and hazardous material exposures. Work hours: Monday‑Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 1:4 call. Qualifications PA‑C designation (NCCPA) Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance Current Arizona license or eligibility ACLS/BLS certification Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or orthopedics preferred; new graduates considered Mentorship available Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required Ability to read and interpret EKGs and exercise treadmill stress tests preferred or training within 6 months of employment Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans Paid time off plans Eligibility for benefits coverage within 30 days Financial savings resources Career advancement and optimal work/life balance Employee discounts Banner Health offers competitive salary and recruitment incentives, along with an industry‑leading benefits package that provides security for you and your family.
