Job Position: Inspector/Quality Control

Location: Valdosta, GA 31601

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Shift: Days

Description: Quality Control Inspector:
Responsible for performing in process checks on product being produced. These inspectors are responsible verifying that finished product meets or exceeds established standards (FDA, applicable building codes, and local instructions) as well as documenting and reporting anomalies to management. The inspectors collect samples and conduct visual and mechanical testing according to current quality standards. The checkers also manage product labeling and ensure product is properly packaged. They also run in-process checklists, verify the accuracy of documentation, and document quality inspections on designated forms.
Below are some of the desired qualifications:
High level of experience with computers
Must be well versed with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with others
Must be highly motivated and physically capable of being on their feet for at least 10-12 hours a day...steel toe shoes are required
Must be reliable and show up to work on time
