Zuora Systems Analyst - Revenue recognition

Project scope

We are looking for Zuora consultants (we are open to Nearshore or 100% remote from USA either way we need good communicators). They must know WORKDAY (version 1.5 preferably) and strong Zuora experience.

Core Functions & Responsibilities
Set Up & Connect the System (Configuration & Integration)
Revenue Rules: Set up rules for how and when revenue is recognized (over time vs. all at once).
System Connections: Connect data moving from sales tools into Zuora Billing, through Zuora Revenue, and down into accounting systems like Workday.
Fix Data & Support Financial Close (Operations & Data)
Error Clearing: Monitor error queues (workbenches) to unblock stuck transactions, invoices, or adjustments.
Month-End Close: Help finance wrap up monthly books by running automated revenue jobs and fixing posting errors.
Data Queries: Write custom SQL/ZOQL queries to find missing numbers and build revenue reports.
Design & Test New Rules (Business Support)
Requirements: Meet with finance teams to turn their accounting rules into step-by-step system designs.
Testing & Audits: Run tests before new features go live and pull audit logs to prove the system complies with financial regulations (SOX/ASC 606).

Please tell us about your professional experience, especially your experience working with Workday and Zuora .
Please explain your experience as a System Analyst and/or Scrum Master , and confirm that you are fully available to work Pacific Time hours .



This is an urgent requirement, and we will get interviews right away.

From HM:

Both roles require heavy participation in meetings and live discussions.

Need visible, daily availability especially during the active implementation phase (December onward). Expected to be reachable during pacific hours. On Teams, etc.

There are specific periods that will be off limits for time off - releases during pre-go-live/go-live (target date Aug 2027)

Start with 6 months with extension to Aug 2027
