Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
(30-minute lunch break)

Job Summary

LJ's Cleaning Solutions is seeking an experienced Custodial Services Supervisor to oversee daily janitorial operations in a warehouse environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising the cleaning team, maintaining quality standards, training employees, and assisting with daily cleaning and warehouse operations. This position must be your primary and only job, as the supervisor is required to be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily janitorial crew
• Create work schedules and assign daily tasks
• Conduct team meetings and daily check-ins
• Perform quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Communicate with HR, clients, vendors, and management
• Perform hands-on cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Perform floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing
• Cross-train and assist with warehouse operations, including industrial equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in an office and warehouse environment
• Ability to safely wear PPE and work with cleaning chemicals
