Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the region. The role involves providing specialized cardiac telemetry care during day shifts. The RN will be responsible for managing cardiac patient populations, interpreting dysrhythmias, and maintaining unit operational standards, with the flexibility to float between units as needed. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Minimum of 0 years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry nursing, familiarity with Epic charting system, and ability to independently manage a 1:3 or 1:4 staffing ratio. Float: Float rotation may be required to alternate units based on skill sets. Additional Information: Candidates must have at least one year of acute care experience, be comfortable with cardiac care procedures, and able to interpret dysrhythmias. All travelers are expected to work three of the five major holidays. Prior to designated start, all required modules must be completed as part of orientation.
