Assistant Property Manager

In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the community, assist with leasing, resident relations, rent collections, and administrative responsibilities while helping maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction. Compensation & Schedule: Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, DOE Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) & Saturday (10:00 AM-2:00 PM) 36 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Assist with the daily operations of the apartment community. Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, move-ins, and resident retention efforts. Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents. Respond to resident inquiries and help resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner. Assist with rent collections, notices, and resident account management. Maintain resident files, reports, and property records accurately. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support office operations. Partner with the Property Manager to achieve occupancy, leasing, and performance goals. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure service requests and resident needs are addressed. Promote a positive living environment while upholding company policies and community standards. Leasing, property management, or affordable housing experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software systems. Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management software preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling resident files and records. Professional, positive, and resident-focused approach to customer service. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
